🌈 Rooted in Pride: The Beginning of EverProud Collective

Hi there—welcome to the very first post of the EverProud Collective blog. I’ll be honest: starting something new like this—putting your voice and story out into the world—can feel a bit daunting. But here we are, in June, during Pride Month, and I can’t think of a better time to begin.

Because EverProud Collective isn’t just a brand. It’s personal. It’s a love letter to the Pacific Northwest, a celebration of identity, and a step toward building something bigger than myself.

A Northwest Kind of Love

I live in the heart of the Pacific Northwest with my husband, Matt, and our loyal pup, Darby. We take long walks through towering evergreens, sip coffee as the fog rolls over the water, and find joy in the slow, quiet beauty of our home. The PNW isn’t just where we live—it’s where we belong. It’s where we’ve built a life together filled with love, laughter, and purpose.

This region has a spirit of authenticity and grit. Of community and resilience. And those values are deeply woven into the fabric of EverProud Collective. It’s why our tagline is:
Rooted in Pride. Grown in the Northwest.

What Pride Means to Us

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’ve walked the path of growing up, coming out, and carving out space in a world that doesn’t always make it easy. Pride isn’t just about parades and flags (though those are pretty great). It’s about visibility. It’s about being unapologetically yourself. It’s about honoring the journeys—both quiet and bold—that brought us here.

EverProud Collective was born out of that spirit. A place where identity meets creativity. Where designs aren’t just stylish—they tell stories. Where every purchase supports not just a small business, but a vision of inclusion, affirmation, and celebration.

Building This Together

This blog, and this business, are both still in their infancy. There will be learning curves, growing pains, and, most likely, moments I’ll look back on and laugh at. But I know that if I build this with heart, and surround it with community, it will grow into something meaningful.
